Fitting the needs of each client is of utmost importance to me, whether a one-page site or a multi-faceted campaign is what serves them best.
Web
I've done many initial builds, several redesigns, and a very fair amount of updating and posting. No job is too big or too small.
One of the larger projects I've worked on was transforming a group of school district websites that were being built and managed separately into a cohesive design and format, while also bringing them up to the current standards of accessibility.

For example: The bell and bus schedules, as well as most of the information that had been previously posted, were in an inaccessible PDF format. Changing this information to an HTML format made it responsive and usable by screen readers.
There were 16 schools in this District that needed to be updated as well as the District's own site and employee intranet.

There was a massive amount of information to sift through and properly format and it was quite rewarding to see so much improvement.
Recently, I helped breathe new life into an established nonprofit's web presence.
Their site hadn't been updated since 2009, but that's what happens when you're busy saving lives, so I gave them a fresh start to help drive outreach and donations.
This client, a new therapist, wanted to introduce herself and her approach to wellness to reach her audience.
It was very important to her that prospective patients were educated about the techniques she utilizes. Getting people the help they need is vital to her, so emergency information was prominently displayed as well.
I have quite a lot of experience building HTML emails across a variety of platforms and I believe email is still a very important tool in a company's marketing.

This email was created to feature a client's newest product, e-sign software, that had been really taking off and earning prestigious awards in it's industry.

This same client also offered a very popular tax return solution for accounting firms. I wanted to keep the look and function similar across their various products while still giving each product it's own time to shine.

We also featured several webinars for this client that would introduce their products to those who were curious about buying as well as ones for current customers who wanted to dig deeper into the software they were already using.
All of these emails were properly built in HTML and mobile-responsive, not just one huge image that was created in Photoshop and sliced.
I've also had experience with building and editing several email newsletters.
Social
Social Media is obviously at the forefront of most companies marketing plan these days because it's such an effective way to connect with your customer more rapidly and personally.
I have experience making assets and writing copy for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Twitch and would feel comfortable posting for any social media site.
A bit more
Working on projects for clients is exciting and rewarding but, unfortunately, that meant our own agency materials often got pushed to the bottom of the list. I wanted to make a point of freshening up our out-of-date company website.

Many, if not most, of the blog posts had been written before I was there. I spent quite a bit of time making sure the articles were updated with the latest information, photos, links and were SEO-friendly.

This site was getting very near completion, mostly just some final tweaks and fills needed, but once the pandemic hit it was put on hold indefinitely.

I recently noticed that a popular social media hashtag regarding feral cat health didn't have a website so I put one up to help spread valuable information.
I wanted it to be a brief primer, encouraging people to reach out to groups in their communities to get full and proper instruction from a reputable organization.
Also in the spirit of trying to help boost valuable information regarding community cats, I wrote a couple of articles for a local pet-centric newspaper.
This project was for an established therapist who wanted to expand her services to the underserved parts of her community.
I got her set up with a site that clearly outlines her qualifications and approach so those in need could find her and other available resources more easily.
Just for fun
My dad has been a welder and fabricator since he was in high school. When he opened his own shop, I wanted to make sure he had a proper online presence.
He has now retired but has kept the homepage live so longtime customers can still contact him, if needed.
I also like playing video games, from time to time, so when I joined an online group of players, I made a website for the promotion of our group.

This site was designed in such a way that it would allow for the background images and theme to be easily switched out depending on the art of the current expansion.
It was also necessary for information to be easily amended and not affect the layout. All images were also properly attributed with the publisher's guidelines.

Considering the vast majority of these types of sites, at the time, were still made up of barely legible text and some poorly cropped, low-resolution images, it went over quite well and was instrumental in recruiting many players to the group.
My sister has a licensed therapy dog who makes a lot of friends. She asked for a bright and fun site for the kids to be able to check out whenever they wanted.
Adorable business cards with gold foil accents were also made to hand out at events. A QR code was added so the parents could easily scan it to view the site.
Email Campaign Sample
I've produced many email campaigns but this one was one of my all-time favorites. It was all about linking innovations of the past to our client's breakthrough of the present and showing customers what their future could look like.
This campaign was built in HTML and was responsive. It also highlighted the company's prestigious industry awards and they were very pleased with it.
I really do enjoy building websites, HTML emails and marketing materials. It feels great to help out friends and family with their projects and businesses and it lets me explore new avenues of creativity and problem solving.
